Life as We Know It

There is stillness to life
As if time is frozen
The clouds in there beauty
Seem no more than pillows that drape the sky
A feeling of emptiness
A feeling of longing
A yearning for more
A sweet temptation to live, breathe
It’s captivation is too hard to ignore
My soul cries out for freedom
My emancipation is long overdue
My uncontrollable urge to breakout
My inability to initiate change
It’s all that holds me back
Strength and courage is all I need
My suit of armour needs nothing more
The agony of it all
How can life be so claustrophobic?

We ask if there is life after death
But is there death before life
